Kea is currently leading a Fuel Treatment Efficacy research project alongside Dr Lori daniels in the Tree Ring Lab at The University of British Columbia.
Kea was interested in working with SIFCo as part of her research into the effectiveness of fuel management treatments in helping to mitigate wildfire risk.
In this video she discusses the details of the research project she is leading to monitor the efficacy of prescribed burns as a wildfire fuel mitigation action.
