PONDEROSA ACTIVITIES

This is another FESBC supported WUI treatment area.

It is the first treatment area undertaken that combines a harvest and then mechanical and manual clean up.

The harvesting component is finished & machine piling has been completed on 20 of the 30 hectares.

We have decreased our harvest target in order to accommodate the mushroom picking area, the bike trail, and a sufficient number of leave trees.

One load has been sold to Stream Keepers to be used at Phillipoff Rd. for river bank restoration.
