Community Wildfire Protection Plan Update

Stephan has now signed contracts with the RDCK to to do Community Wildfire Protection Plans for both the north and south Slocan Valley .

Stephan and Tom have reviewed guidelines for the project with RDCK staff.

Stephan Martineau (SIFCo's Manager) and Tom Bradley (Forestry Supervisor) have been working to outline the updated CWPP.

Tom has looked at the valley and outlined areas of concern using Flam Map in order to accurately determine potential fire corridors. This then allows us to position our fuel breaks accordingly.

Tom and Stephan have jointly made revisions. Tom is now overlaying government data.
