Bannock Point Development and Enhancement

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

In 2009, in our first year of operation, we focussed on local job creation, a safer community and stewardship of our landbase. Over $500,000 was brought into the Community of the Slocan Valley and many jobs were created. 2010 will see us expand our Wildland-Urban Interface Program and our Invasive Alien Plant program. We will also begin harvesting some trees from the landbase and begin developing value-added products. Please browse our website and if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.  Above, Bannock Point Recreation site on a nice fall day.
